  • During the month of May - To help raise awareness for proper prenatal care, Stater Bros. Super Rx Pharmacy will offer free prenatal vitamins to expectant mothers during the month of May 2010, which is Pregnancy Awareness Month.   For the health of both the mother and the baby, women are advised to take prenatal vitamins during such an important time in their lives. Women who are pregnant or are planning to have children can qualify for this program with a valid doctor’s prescription.  Quantities must be written for a thirty-day supply and not to exceed 30 tablets.   There are 28 conveniently located Stater Bros.   • May 8 - The education division of the San Bernardino County Museum will hold a basket-making family workshop. This workshop will be offered twice: 9am to noon, and repeated at 1:30 to 4:30pm. The registration deadline is Saturday, May 1.  Participants will learn about the natural materials used to make baskets, weave a traditional-style doll with palm leaves, and construct round reed baskets. The cost of $30 for a family or $15 for an individual includes all materials and admission to the museum. Workshop projects are appropriate for families with children ages 8 and up.  The San Bernardino County Museum is at the California Street exit from Interstate 10 in Redlands.
